A Year Later

One year ago, I photographed these two adorable and sweet little girls. I love the opportunity to watch families as they grow and this one in particular is dear to my heart. If you recall from a previous post, Miss A & Miss L were adopted from Russia. They are adjusting beautifully in their new home. Miss A is now in preschool and learning very quickly with her sister not far behind. They are very much loved and as you can tell are inseparable. I'll post a few more soon but thought Mom & Dad might want a sneak peek!

Christy & Bryan at The Grand Geneva, Wisconsin

Congratulations to Christy & Bryan!!!! Their wedding was Cinderella's dream. It was held at the fabulous Grand Geneva Inn of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and absolutely done in "Grand" style fit for any princess; which by the way is how Bryan refers to his lovely bride. Below, are some images from their wedding day.

These flowers were so vibrant and complimented the hot pink gowns of the seven bridesmaids.

This is their yougest daughter, Malia, who you may remember from a previous blog posting. I photographed Malia when she was just three months old. Here she is ready for the royal court as she tells Mommy how beautiful she is.

Last but not least, I have to end this post with a photograph of Cinderella's Castle. A perfect ending to a fairytale day which could not have been executed without the assitance of the wonderful wedding coordinator at the Grand Geneva. A special thank you to Lauren for keeping the day on track.

Love in Long Grove

Shannon & Mike are a fun-loving couple who's wedding I recently photographed. Shannon & Mike were married at a historic church in Long Grove. The church was founded in 1846 and was the same church that Shannon's mother was married in. Their wedding day was warm and beautiful and had an awesome breeze to help sweep Shannon's veil in the air for the photographs. I've known Christy for nearly four years. We met at the Spa Bleu Salon & Day Spa in downtown West Dundee where she works and has styled my hair since we met. Christy is such a sweet and warm-hearted individual and met someone equally special, Bryan. I must note that Bryan is extremely patient as he allowed me to drag him all around downtown to get these fabulous engagement shots of this beautiful couple. Thanks guys for playing in the summer sun.....Christy, despite the heat your hair still looked fabulous!!! I look forward to photographing your wedding in July.
